What is San-A-Wash Powder?

San-A-Wash Powder is a unique non-toxic, powder-based disinfectant which is use to safely treat water sources used by people, animals and crops in various applications. The product is formulated to eliminate up to 99.999% of a wide range gram-positive and gram-negative bacterium, virus, yeast, mould and fungi. Effective in the presence of organic matter. The product will not alter the taste or colour of the water, it is also odourless. If the product is used to treat drinking water, it will reduce the bacteria levels in the gut of the person or animal by improving the quality of the drinking water.

Product Applications?

Produce Washing: (Dilution ratio: 1gr – 2 L)

Animal Drinking & Potable Water: (Dilution ratio: 1gr – 5 L)

  • Animal water systems can become heavily contaminated when food is dropped back into open systems.
  • Poorly treated water sources allow bio-films to grow on the inside of pipes.
  • It will effectively reduce the level of harmful bacteria (such as Campylobacter and Salmonella) being
  • carried over to the food source.
  • The lower levels of harmful pathogens will ensure the animals are healthier.
  • Improving growth and reducing mortality.
  • Acidify the feed water which will optimize vitamin uptake and reduce stress levels.

Disinfection of Water Lines: (Dilution ratio: 1gr – 5 L) ·

  • The above dilution ratio is a guideline of the amount of San-A-Wash Powder required to disinfect the drinking water line.
  • -The product also ensures that the build-up of biofilm in the pipeline and drinker nipples are removed.
